First Halloween

Well our first Halloween celebration has come and gone. Our town celebrated Halloween tonight. So, we got the little man up from his nap and immediately got him ready to go Trick-or-Treating with our friends The K's and The P's. By far, Little B's favorite part of the outing was riding in the wagon. We are definitely going to have to add a wagon to his birthday/christmas list (no, he won't need it until spring but here begins the downside of having all your holidays rolled into one time!) However, since he didn't want to be buckled in between every house, we gave that up quickly and opted for carrying him. He had no clue what he was getting house to house but when he got home and I spilled it on our ottoman to sort through, he sure had fun poking at the packages and crinkling them in his hand. The very first house we went to had bags of candy but when she saw how little our pumpkin was, she grabbed a bag of Little Bug Graham Crackers and Goldfish for him. So, he lucked out and was able to eat some of his treats. By the end of our hour trip, he was tuckered and was ready to take a break! This was the beginning to some great Halloween fun and we look forward to next year to see what costume he will wear and the energy and excitement Halloween will bring for him.

Happy Halloween!
