And He's Off...
Little B is not just taking steps like he has for the past 7 weeks. He is now an official walker. I came home from work on Monday after a very long day away from the little man and was absolutely exhausted. All that changed when I walked in the door and Landon saw me. He was standing by the doorway back to the bedrooms and turned when he heard me come in. He smiled his big toothy grin like he always does, turned around, and walked four feet to the gate in between the living room and dining room and held his arms up to me for his hello hugs and kisses. It was absolutely adorable and I could not praise him enough. I was so proud of him and his feat. He walked six plus steps another couple of times before bed that evening. Twenty-four hours later, he was an official walker. When we dropped him off at The K's for our Date night, he walked halfway across their living room to follow me out the door. And the trend only gets better today. It's so precious and as I told Daddy B, I could've stayed home all day today just to watch him walk. This is the first milestone that we've seen him really excited about. He's so proud of himself and gets excited when we praise him which is also a new development in the last couple of weeks (looking to us for approval). I'm so proud and thankful for my little man - who I must say, yet again is a bit ahead of the curve when it comes to physical development (the average walker is 12 months). Way to go Little B!
p.s.(Ok, I've been trying to edit/upload a video for over an hour. That's OBVIOUSLY not a talent of mine so I will have to wait for YouTube to upload the first video and then edit/repost this. The second will not be seen due to buttocks getting in the way twice and not being pleasant to the viewing audience. Maybe one day Daddy B can teach me to edit and I can upload it.)
