Reports have it that he's enjoyed his time with Uncle E and M and was all smiles when around them. He definitely thinks Uncle E is the bees knees. Reports also have it that he was very clingy to Nana when the exchange was made to Grammy and then at church 16 hours later he was clingy to Grammy. I've been told he searched out Daddy when waking up this morning and kept calling for him. Unfortunately, he didn't sleep well for Grammy last night so looking for Daddy came early this morning. He didn't take much interest in talking to me tonight. I guess we will see if he's mad at me when we meetup on Tuesday. I am looking forward to getting my hands on the little man and will be showering him with hugs and kisses.
Daddy B and I have enjoyed our time reconnecting, him getting applications and freelance (he's got another job right now!) done, me getting picture editing done and finally working on the belly picture book I've wanted to do over the last year, yummy dinners - one made by my dear husband!, "sleeping in", cleaning out the garage and other trivial tasks. By far the most fun was dinner out and shopping for Christmas gifts on Friday evening. Daddy B and I easily could have bought every other toy on the shelf. I think we may be going with getting nothing for each other. I'm also seeing how Christmas and Birthday all at the same time are going to stink not just for Little B but for us because it means summer toys that are somewhat expensive may have to be Birthday gifts. We may be half birthday celebraters when he gets older!
Less than 19 hours of pre-Mommy and Daddy life to go!
