Then there was the whirlwhind of finding a new house. I had browsed off and on for months but suddenly found a description on Craigslist that caught my attention. I normally immediately nixed ones without pictures but this one felt different. So, Daddy B called about it and now we are proud inhabitants of a new home! Hopefully, one day we will have everything in its rightful place and I can get up the Christmas tree before Christmas is over. Of course, Daddy B is probably enjoying the fact it's not up since last year we put it up before Thanksgiving. My excuse was that I'd be too pregnant after our extended family Thanksgiving trip to do it. I was right about that more than likely but in the end all that mattered was that I got to enjoy my tree for an extended period of time! But, back to the house - minus the pink porcelain in the bathroom and not quite enough counter space in the kitchen, the house is wonderful. It's bigger than the other house with a third bedroom that we are able to use as the office and boys' room so that the boys don't have to be in the living room all day. That's a wonderful blessing for everyone but especially Daddy B who is kept busy by Little K and Little B Monday-Thursday all day long. Pictures to come at a later date when I have the house in order!
Little B enjoyed his first Thanksgiving and kicked it off by attending Uncle E's basketball game. This was Little B's second time to attend a game and he loved it. He especially enjoyed when everyone was clapping.
And last but not least, my baby is about to turn one. So, of course I created my own invitation! Landon was a ham for every single picture I took. Oh how I love that little man. Just a few of my favorites:
And the big finale (until his big day of course!) (*Edited for personal information*) I'm not sure how I feel about this one yet. I've enjoyed watching him grow this past year but I'm really not ready for my baby to not be a baby anymore. In all honesty, we've already reached the stage where he's not a baby. It's so sad how fast time can fly! He is doing so much now including his newest feat of waving bye bye and clapping - both of which he thinks makes him the coolest kid in the world (which he is!) and grins from ear to ear. He waits for us to say yay while he claps and then gives us a grin like only that special little boy can causing the entire room to light up. He is definitely a fun little boy and we are very blessed with his happy disposition and love for fun. Of course, this will probably get him in trouble as he gets older, but for now, it makes for a very fun child that Mommy and Daddy enjoy very much!
