Brilliant!

Thoughts from a 6 year old...

Big E called tonight and was hysterical during the entire conversation. She counted to 100 to me. She started over three times and throughout started back at a ten because "Mommy was bothering her." Haha. She put so much emphasis on the nines and tens in her little sing songy voice and it just melted my heart to mush. By far though, her funniest moment was when I told her I needed to go eat dinner while Little B was still sleeping or I might miss out. Momma S said she understood that all too well. Big E on the other hand, did not. She asked why and when I responded by telling her that he always seemed to know when I was trying to eat and he would then get hungry so I would have to feed him, it didn't satisfy her at all. Her response? "He needs patience." I wanted to bust out laughing because the thought of my six year old with little patience telling me that her little brother needed patience at 4 weeks old was priceless. We explained to her that he was a baby and he didn't understand yet. I told her that when he got older she could teach him what patience was and help him in that area.

As a side note, it's official! My little man's favorite place is his changing table. He lays there forever contently staring at his wall hangings (thank you Ana and Baba!) cooing and sharing smiles with us. I love it! It's so neat to watch him interact with us and with other things.

Daddy B putting a way too big Titans onesie on Little B just so he could enjoy. Anyone have Colts gear to donate? It's much needed to even out his wardrobe! :)
