ENT appt.

Well, the ENT appointment went okay. Little B's tonsils are fine (expected!) and for the adenoids we had to have xrays done to see so those results are pending. They want a sleep study done at Riley Children's Hospital to rule out any sleep problems. They said they don't do the surgery until at least 18 months and that they are guessing based on no trouble with eating/drinking that the adenoids aren't a big problem. Frustrating because I really feel that he'd stop breathing through his mouth, would have less drool and ultimately better sleep without his adenoids. This road will not be quick because Riley is usually backed up they said. We either have to go by May 8 or will have to wait until July 1 due to our insurance lapse with me switching jobs. Which, since they won't do anything until the end of July (18 months), that won't be a huge deal anyways I guess. Daddy B felt okay with the doctor's answers but I just felt frustrated because I truly feel that based on his breathing and slobber that it's bothersome during sleep. Not to mention I'd prefer Little B not be a mouth breather for the rest of the life like his momma. We will play the wait and see game...
